Sharing the love

Here are a few more pictures of family members with Harmony... and a few more cute ones.

Grandpa Thomas will arrive later today! Uncle Jon, we need some pictures with you!!

She made it!!!

She's finally here!!!! We are so very excited and grateful to announce that our baby girl Harmony Gayle Layton was born August 22, 2008 at 9:08 am! (Notice that her birthday is a palendrome 08/22/08. Ben was very hopeful that she would cooperate and be born on a palendrome. She's already being obedient!)

She's a wonderful baby and has such a calm temperament. We've been amazed at how easy going she has been.

We hope to update the blog as often as possible, but for now here are a few pictures to enjoy! We'll add more soon!

Catching Up!

I wanted to add some pictures I just got from a few of our activities over the summer. We have some pictures from the baby shower in June, Nyles B-day in July, and Pioneer day on July 24th!

The group from the shower! Missing one friend (Nicole!)
and one mother-in-law who took the picture!

Me holding the outfit from Aunt Becky! "Daddy's little Princess!"

It's Nyle's party, and he can show of his future grandbabies if he wants to!

Our favorite friends (who used to be our neighbors!)
Nathan and Nicole Abraham,
came to the Layton's for the Pioneer day celebrations.

The Abraham's son, Ethan, helping Sarah to walk the dog!

Ben longboarding and walking Todd - the dogs love the fast pace!

The Final Countdown

Yes indeed, this is the final countdown. Tara is at 37 weeks and counting. Pretty soon we'll have our new daughter joining us in our home...at last! Grandma and Grandpa Layton helped us put the finishing touches on the baby's room by painting some stars on her already blue accented walls, and by bringing over a cradle that was hand made by Ben's dad for Ben when he was born! Teresa put some hard work in to make some adorable bumpers for the cradle and to get the bedding all ready!

Here are a few angles of Tara's continuously growing belly...And a rare glimpse of the camera shy, but proud, father-to-be!
