35 Weeks

It's a new blog!!

It’s been a fun couple of weeks this last month. Tara’s belly grew to gigantic proportions (according to her). The baby has been moving and spinning and jumping around a lot more than before…pretty much all day long. Tara’s been feeling great, with only a couple complaints of discomfort since her 8th month began.

At the end of June, Tara’s mother-in-law and sister’s-in-law threw her a surprise baby shower! They were very sneaky, and Tara was extremely surprised and thrilled! It was held at our friends the Porters’ house. We should be able to post pictures of that shortly.

We recently had Tara’s cousin Aimee come up for a visit! We really enjoyed having her here. We tried to give her some cool Utah experiences, so we took her up to Bridal Veil Falls, Sundance, and of course, Ikea! We had fun watching RIFFTRAX together too.

This last weekend we all went up to Preston, Idaho for the Spackman family reunion. Ben got his first tour of the Blackfoot Potato Museum!

Tara will begin her new work-from-home, online chat support job for StoresOnline this week. Hopefully this will keep the boredom from being home alone (waiting for the baby) at bay.

Enjoy the new pictures of the past week!

The Pictures

Here are the 3D photos from the Ultrasound visit. She is partially hiding her face so they are not PERFECT...but you get the idea. You can see her big cheeks are a lot like Tara's were as a baby. We're still looking to see if we can find a hair or two on her head though. She will probably take after us both in that area and be a baldy. We hope you like them! We don't want any angry aunts out there! :)

3D Pictures!!!

Here you can see her face profile. The next one she is trying to hide back there. Then, you get some good shots of her cute cheeks! The last is Tara as a baby next to the baby, which was made by Ben for comparison purposes.
